ANNOUNCEMENT BY THE BANKING, FINANCE AND INSURANCE COMMISSION, PUBLISHED IN APPLICATION OF ARTICLE 34, § 2, PARAGRAPH 3, OF THE LAW OF 2 AUGUST 2002
The Banking, Finance and Insurance Commission hereby announces, in application of Article 34, § 2, paragraph 3, of the Law of 2 August 2002, the decision to suspend trading in the following financial instrument on a Belgian regulated market :
Trading in FORTIS, code ISIN BE0003801181 and derivatives on Euronext Brussels will be suspended from 9:00 a.m. as from 28/4/2009 to insure an orderly progress of the general meetings and until the publication of a press release.
